How Can Osteopathy Help

Osteopathy is a recognised system of ‘hands on’ healthcare which links body structure with its ability to work at its best.

Osteopaths aim to support the body’s own self-healing mechanisms and help promote good function of all its systems, including musculoskeletal, circulatory, respiratory and digestive.

Osteopaths are extensively trained in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and clinical examination to enable them to make a precise diagnosis and give effective treatment to help restore balance between these systems.

We are also able to recognise conditions where osteopathic treatment may not be appropriate and promptly refer patients for further investigations. We have been in Congleton for more than 28 years and have good links to other healthcare professionals, consultant surgeons and local GP surgeries.
